1. If you are using Bb for instructional purposes, you and your students can access from inside of a Bb Course site 

  1. If you want to use Collaborate as general web conferencing tool, you will access through the Web Scheduler

  1. Go to your Blackboard Course Site 

  1. Click the + sign at the top of your course menu  

  1. Select the “Tool Link” link 

  1. Close Up Adding a Tool link in BlackboardType the Name (example Web Meeting) 

  1. Change the Type to Blackboard Collaborate Ultra 

  1. Check the box that indicates the Tool is available to users 

  1. You now have a link to Collaborate at the bottom of your course menu. 

  1. To access your room, click on the link.
