Original Course View:
- Make sure Edit Mode is turned on:
- Click on the Add Menu Item button (the + sign) at the top of the course menu:
- Select Web Link from the menu:
- A dialog box similar to the one below labeled Add Web Link will appear:
- Enter a name for the link in the text field labeled Name (for this example, we will use Library)
- Enter or copy the web address for the site you wish to link in the space labeled URL ( for this example, we will enter http://library.tulsacc.edu/home )
- Check the box next to Available to Users to make the item visible to users
- When finished, click the Submit button.
Notice: The link will appear at the bottom of the Course Menu and can be moved around to suit your needs.
Ultra Course View:
- Select the plus sign wherever you want to add the website information:
- Select Create from the dropdown menu which appears to open the Create Item panel:
- Select Link from the slide-out panel menu (You can also expand or create a folder or learning and add the link in there as well.):
- A New Link panel will appear as shown below:
- Type a name for the link (If you don't add a name, New Link and the date appear. Click the name to Edit.)
- Click the dropdown menu next to "Hidden from students" and select "Visible to students" to make the link visible:
- Paste or type the URL.
- Select the globe icon to preview the website.
- Type in a description for the link (optional)
- Click the Save button to apply the changes.
